Thanks for the clarification. Is there a reason for that? Wouldn't it
make sense for Enigmail to read such settings? So users don't have to
configure it in gpg.conf AND enigmail preferences?

Bytheway, do you prefer future bugreports (okay, this one wasn't a
bugreport as it turns out...) on this list or on sourceforge?
